Membership in the Beer Bagger Challenge is
by invitation only

Step 1 – Get Introduced

  • Sponsor.  Find a BBC member to “sponsor” you.  (If you don’t know anyone, ask us for a referral.)
  • Game Name. This is the distinctive nickname you will use.  There’s a catch, though: Your sponsor determines your game name.  Consider bribing your sponsor with a beer to make sure you get a game name that you can live with!
  • Introductory Photo.  Your introduction to other BBC members is a photo of you with your membership dues.  You can do a selfie or ask your sponsor to take the photo.
  • Introduction.  Get your sponsor to introduce you.  (Your sponsor needs to share your photo and your game name in the secret Online Clubhouse on Facebook).

Step 2 – Complete the Paperwork

 

  • We need to know:
    • Your real name and contact information.  This so we can reach you if we need to.
    • Your “game name”.  This so we can add you to the Leaderboard.
    • If you are a new or returning member
    • Who referred you. This because a member who refers a new member gets a bonus point on the monthly Leaderboard (and THAT could be worth a free beer!)
    • Any questions you have about the Beer Bagger Challenge, so we can answer them promptly.
  • When you complete the form, you will be automatically sent to the PayPal page where you can pay for your annual dues with your credit or debit card

Step 3 – Pay for Membership

  • In 2023, annual membership in the Beer Bagger Challenge costs only CDN$10. Membership dues are for the calendar year (e.g. to 31 December). If you join in November or December as a new member, you get those two months free!
  • Click on the “Pay Now” link… but before you do, please read the instructions below so you know what to do when you get to the PayPal screen!




  • At the PayPal screen, click on “Pay with Credit Card or Visa Debit” (the lower part of the form with a gray background). Complete the form and press “Pay Now”.  (There’s nothing to ship, but you can’t get rid of this field, so just click on “ship to my billing address.”)
  • the PayPal application takes a few seconds then will present you with a confirmation receipt.  If you’d like a copy, either print your screen (desktop) or text the receipt to Messenger
  • click on “Return to Merchant”.  You will then go to the “Welcome” page of this website. From there, just click on the “Members Only” link where you can request access to the secret Facebook group and start baggin’ this month’s beers!
